EON Auto Mart Upgraded and Relocated to A New Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre in Kuching ​

Kuala Lumpur, 1 March 2024 – MITSUBISHI MOTORS MALAYSIA (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, together with authorized dealer EON Auto Mart (EAM), relocated to a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare parts) showroom in Kuching.

This latest showroom expansion is Mitsubishi Motors’ biggest showroom in Kuching and is situated at Lot 852, Section 64, Kuching Town Land District, 93450, Kuching Sarawak.

With a built-up area of 18,000 square feet, the 3S Centre comes with a refreshed look and is in line with Mitsubishi Motors’ brand identity, with the global brand message ‘Drive Your Ambition’.

In addition to housing a comfortable customer lounge with WIFI and a kid’s corner, the outlet comes with a fully equipped service centre with nine service bays ready to serve every Mitsubishi car.

“This strategic move is to serve our customers better as we see a huge potential for business growth here in Sarawak, especially for the Triton pick-up truck and XPANDER seven-seater crossover. In addition, MMM is continuing to advance our dealer’s network expansion as we progressively work towards introducing new Mitsubishi Motors’ model in Malaysia,” said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.

Kuala Lumpur, 22 January 2024 – MITSUBISHI MOTORS MALAYSIA (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, introduced an upgraded variant of the Triton AT Premium with a distinctive sporty aesthetic. This variant is available for limited units only

The Triton variant boasts a sporty look and feel, and comes only in White Diamond. It is designed to captivate enthusiasts who appreciate a dynamic and stylish driving experience.
Aesthetic-wise, the Triton comes with stylish front bumper garnish, an exclusive sticker design, an 18-inch Yokohama Geolander AT G015 wheelset, wheel arch, and a dynamic sports bar and visor.

Moving into the cabin, the upgrades include illuminated scuff plates and a new headrest design.

The accessories upgrades are by MMM’s authorized dealers.

The Triton is powered by a 2.4-litre MIVEC turbodiesel engine, which produces 181 PS max power and 430 Nm max torque with Variable Valve Timing technology.

Safety-wise, the Triton comes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Active Stability Control (ASC), Traction Control (TC), Rest Reminder, Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Trailer Stability Assist (TSA).

Kuala Lumpur, 31 May 2023 – MITSUBISHI MOTORS MALAYSIA (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia, officially launched Max Certified today, a used car program offering customers a more seamless experience to shop for Mitsubishi pre-used cars.

Under the Max Certified program, customers can browse through various Mitsubishi pre-owned models available at all Mitsubishi Motors dealers nationwide and trade in their existing Mitsubishi model for a brand-new Mitsubishi.

Customers who wish to buy a pre-owned Mitsubishi under the Max Certified program can rest assured that every used car undergoes a comprehensive 150-point inspection by a professionally-trained Mitsubishi specialist. This is to ensure Mitsubishi Motors’ quality assurance and peace of mind for all owners.

That’s not all, every car under this program also comes with a 12-month warranty that covers the repair and/or replacement of the engine, transmission, steering, and electrical components due to mechanical breakdowns. Sporting a more vibrant façade, the 4S Centre elevates Mitsubishi Motors’ brand identity with the global brand message ‘Drive Your Ambition’.

The showroom boasts a built-up space of 15,000 square feet, with an inclusive environment to cater to prospective customers. The 4S Centre can display up to four display vehicles and offers a comfortable customer lounge with WIFI and a kid’s corner.

In addition, its service centre comes with six service bays ready to serve every Mitsubishi car. The showroom is also equipped with Body & Paint service, providing service repair work, accident repairs, and paint work ensuring customers’ vehicles are properly maintained to the highest standards and quality.

Mitsubishi Motors Achieves 27% Sales Growth For Financial Year 2022

Kuala Lumpur, 17 April 2023 – MITSUBISHI MOTORS MALAYSIA (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia continued its sales trend on an upward trajectory after closing Financial Year 2022 (April 2022 – March 2023) with 27% more vehicles sold compared to the same time last financial year.

The company sold 24,315 units with a market share of 3.2%, allowing it to retain its top three spots in the non-national automotive sales table. This is also MMM’s historical high sales achievement since its inception in 2005.

The Mitsubishi XPANDER remains Malaysia’s most popular non-national MPV with a sales growth of 52.2% compared to Financial Year 2021 (April 2021 – March 2022). MMM sold 13,794 units of XPANDER which contributed 57% to the company’s overall total sales.

The Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck is also a remarkable one with a sales growth of 12% compared to the financial year before. MMM sold 10,520 units of Triton and maintained a solid market share of 18%. The Triton is also strong number two in the pick-up truck segment.

“The Triton and XPANDER have been a catalyst for our sales growth in FY22. In ending a successful financial year, we will continue to focus on improving customer purchase and service experience to meet the evolving needs of our customers, assuring a seamless experience,” said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) was formed on 29 January 2005 and is the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia. As one of Malaysia’s leading automotive companies, the company is now represented by 58 showrooms (out of which 47 are 3S Centres and 7 are 4S Centres) and 59 service outlets throughout Malaysia.  In East Malaysia, MMM is represented by 15 showrooms (8 in Sarawak and 7 in Sabah).

Mitsubishi Motors Opens 3S Centre in Kemaman, Terengganu

Kuala Lumpur, 07 March 2023 – Okuan Motors expanded its footprint to Terengganu, opening another 3S centre offering both sales and after-sales services.

“Okuan Motors has been with the Mitsubishi Motors family since 2015 with a 3S centre in Kuantan, Pahang.“ said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.

He added, “Today’s showroom launch is MMM’s sixth outlet in the Eastern region. It is to serve our customers better as we see a huge potential for business growth, especially for the Triton pick-up truck and XPANDER seven-seater crossover. Okuan Motors has been one of our top-performing dealers in Pahang and we are optimistic that we will continue to work hand in hand to keep the sales momentum going.”

Okuan Motors is situated at No. F-56-57-58-G, Jalan Raja Udang 2, Kemaman River Front, Biz Centre, 24000 Cukai, Terengganu, and is strategically accessible.

The showroom is open from Saturday to Wednesday from 8.45 A.M. to 5.15 P.M. and on Thursdays from 8.45 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.

Mitsubishi Motors Opens First 4S Centre in Bintulu, Sarawak

Kuala Lumpur, 27 February 2023 – MITSUBISHI MOTORS MALAYSIA (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia, together with authorized dealer Auto Pacifica Sdn Bhd opened the first Mitsubishi Motors 4S Centre in Sarawak recently. This latest expansion increases the Mitsubishi Motors dealer network to seven showrooms in Sarawak.

With a two-story shop lot and a built-up space of 10,000 square feet, the 4S Centre represents Mitsubishi Motors’ brand identity with the global brand message ‘Drive Your Ambition’.

In addition to housing a comfortable customer lounge with WIFI and a kid’s corner, the outlet comes with a fully-equipped service centre with five service bays ready to serve every Mitsubishi car. Customers can also make insurance renewals and vehicle trade-ins at the showroom.

“Auto Pacifica started operating as a Mitsubishi Motors dealer since 2007, shortly after MMM was established in 2005 hence the dealership is no stranger to the Mitsubishi Motors family. Besides this showroom in Bintulu, Auto Pacifica has another Mitsubishi showroom in Miri and soon will be launching its third outlet in Kota Samarahan by the end of March 2023,” said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.

Auto Pacifica is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. and on Sunday from 10.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M.
