Mitsubishi Motors Flood Relief Effort

Kuala Lumpur, 22 November 2017 - Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, announced a Flood Relief Effort for Mitsubishi owners affected by the recent flood disaster in Penang.

The company will offer a 40% discount on spare parts and labour prices from today until 31 December for vehicles damaged by flood. Only vehicles that were purchased from MMM's authorised dealers will qualify, and cases are subject to verification to ensure authenticity.

"We hope that this Flood Relief Effort will help ease the burden of our customers through this difficult period. Our prayers and best wishes go out to our customers and their families who have been affected by the floods.", said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.

Besides discount on parts, MMM will also support customers by offering free towing services for vehicles involved in the flood to the nearest Mitsubishi service centre. All customers need to do is to lodge a police report and then make a call to Mitsubishi Motors Customer Careline at 1-800-88-2166 or 03-7803 1566 to obtain the free towing service.

MMM together with 120 Triton Tuners Club members and authorized Mitsubishi dealers have also initiated a clean-up programme in some flood-hit areas.
