New Mitsubishi Triton VGT variant and Limited Edition Mitsubishi ASX Adventure Introduced

Kuala Lumpur, 17 November 2017 – Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, officially introduced new Mitsubishi Triton VGT variant- Mitsubishi Triton VGT AT Premium and limited edition Mitsubishi ASX Adventure today.

Mitsubishi Motors has vast experience in cross country competition and proven success in conquering the toughest terrain, Dakar Rally. With a remarkable track record of seven consecutive wins and 12 overall victories- it is a testament to the strength, durability and endurance of Mitsubishi vehicles. The “Rally Inspired” Triton is focused on benefitting customers in terms of handling, performance and safety.

The Triton VGT AT Premium is a new variant added into the Triton model line-up. The Triton VGT AT Premium is made to cater for those with an active lifestyle but desire an affordable pick-up truck for daily usage. The Triton VGT AT Premium has new design 17′ alloy wheels, leather seats and reverse camera with guidelines and is priced at RM 116,300.00.

Subsequently, the Triton Adventure X comes with a new design Sports Bar and priced at a greater value for pick-up truck buyers. The Triton Adventure X is now priced at RM 126,990.

The Triton is as an all-rounder pick-up truck and is sealed with a warranty that’s unparalleled in the segment. It’s the only pick-up* truck boasting a 200,000 km or 5 years warranty for ultimate peace of mind (*Up to 2.4L category, except Quest).

The Triton is powered by the latest award-winning 2.4-litre MIVEC turbodiesel engine with Variable Valve Timing technology. Coupled with Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT), it produces a strong 181 PS of power and 430 Nm of torque. All Triton models are imported as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) vehicle from Mitsubishi Motors’ global production hub in Thailand.

Safety wise, the Triton comes with seven SRS airbags (Adventure variants only), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Active Stability with Traction Control and Hill-Start Assist (HSA) and Trailer Stability Assists (TSA) for a greater peace-of-mind drive.

The Triton has picked up three awards this year namely – DSF.my and Allianz – Vehicle of the Year, Carsifu’s Editors Choice Awards 2017 – Best Pick Up Truck of the Year and Diesel Engine of the Year.

Limited to 60 units only, the ASX Adventure comes with refreshed exterior such as new front grille, new rear bumper garnish, side door and fender garnish with new 18′ alloy wheels.

Interior wise, the ASX Adventure comes with a signature Sporty Blue lining accents on the door trim and leather seats. The ASX Adventure also comes with aluminum pedals and air vent rings for a sportier touch in the cabin.

The ASX Adventure is available in 2WD variant and is designed for those who seek for an adventurous and robust lifestyle. Customers can own the limited edition ASX Adventure for

RM 123,988.00 in Sporty Blue Metallic and comes with five year warranty package with unlimited mileage.

In conjunction with the year-end holidays, MMM is offering customers cash bonuses up to RM 11,000 for selected ASX variants and RM 8,000 for selected Triton variants for bookings and registrations made before 31 December 2017.
