Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia”) is committed to conducting all business dealings, relationships, and operations with the highest level of ethics and integrity while maintaining principles of transparency and openness, as well as to fully complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to anti-bribery and anti-corruption including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia adopts a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of bribery and corruption and takes a strong stance against such acts.

Gifts & Entertainment Policy

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia recognises that the practice of giving and receiving business gifts may vary between countries, regions, cultures, and religions.

As such, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia accepts reasonable and appropriate gestures of entertainment and goodwill (whether given to/received from third parties) provided that such gifts and entertainment complies with the following requirements and conditions:

It is not made with the intention of influencing the party to whom it is being given, to obtain or reward the retention of business or a business advantage, or as an explicit or implicit exchange for a favour or benefit.
It is in compliance with local law.
It is not lavish, excessive or dubious.
It does not include cash or a cash equivalent (e.g., a voucher or gift certificate)
It is given/received openly with proper declaration and approval from Mitsubishi Motor’s Malaysia management and not given in secret or in private.
It is appropriate for the circumstances (e.g., giving small gifts during festive seasons).

Whistleblowing

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s employees, officers and business partners as well as members of the public are encouraged to raise concerns about any wrongdoing, malpractice, impropriety or unlawful behaviour within Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia by completing and submitting the Whistleblowing Information Form in good faith through any of the following channels.

You are encouraged to identify yourself and provide your contact information to assist with the investigation and prevent false and malicious reporting. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia assures that all reports will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
